Chrysler has yet again announced a planned Fiat-type Jeep for 2013, but it may only be released to the Australian market. This new entry-level Jeep is likely to be built on a taller variant of the platform underpinning Fiat's Punto.

Engine options are also expected to come from Fiat, with the company's 1.3 and 1.6 liter JDTm diesel engines and the 1.4 liter MultiAir gad engines.
